Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs beef sirloin or flank steak, cut into thin strips
  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Method
 

  1. Place the beef strips in the Crock Pot.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, cornstarch, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and stir to combine.
  4. Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender.
  5. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the Crock Pot and stir to combine.
  6. Serve the Crock Pot Beef & Broccoli over a bed of cooked rice.
