- Place the beef strips in the Crock Pot.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, cornstarch, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and stir to combine.
- Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is tender.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets to the Crock Pot and stir to combine.
- Serve the Crock Pot Beef & Broccoli over a bed of cooked rice.
Notes
For best results, use sirloin or flank steak as they become tender and juicy when slow-cooked. Adding the broccoli towards the end ensures it retains its vibrant color and crisp-tender texture. This dish can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days and reheated before serving.
